My name is Pamela Coop. I am Independent Designer #11821253 with Origami Owl. I joined the O2 family in April 2014. I have 2 sons, Joshua Scott and Cole. I am also known as Naoni to a very sassy little girl named Hannah Marie.
I work for Rockdale County Public Schools as a supervisor for our Early Learning Program. I love working with children It’s been a passion of mine since I was in high school. I knew I wanted to be a teacher since I was a little girl. I worked in local childcare centers and I took some college courses to receive several Early Childhood Certifications. I began working with Rockdale County Public Schools in August 2006.
In March 15, 2007 on a Saturday afternoon I received a phone call that my son Joshua had been in an accident and he was hurt bad. I rushed to the accident seen but by the time I got there he had passed. This tragedy forever changed me as a person. I had always been such a happy, positive and very outgoing individual.
But I lost myself. I didn’t even know who I was anymore. I was depressed, I cried constantly and I shut down from everyone I knew. Years passed and I continued this struggle and I learned how to just cope with my new life without Joshua.
In March 2012 I received an” In Memory Locket” from my coworkers. I loved my new locket. It became my new favorite piece of jewelry. I decided I wanted to host a jewelry bar for Allison Bentley. I believe it was Allison’s first jewelry bar since she had joined the company.
My jewelry bar was a huge success. I asked lots of questions and I was curious about the company but did not join right away. When I finally decided I wanted to join there was a freeze on hiring new designers so I hosted a 2nd jewelry bar and I asked more questions about the company.
About six months after my second party I attended a coworker’s jewelry bar and, that evening, I committed to join the O2 family. Allison helped me through the journey and on April 29, 2014, I became an Independent Designer for Origami Owl.
