Soooo…. Lilly started kindergarten this morning. Where has the time gone?!
The lump grew in my throat as I walked down the hall and by the time I got to my car the tears were welling up in my eyes. It didn’t help that her teacher handed me this as I was walking out the door:
After all of that this morning I knew I needed a project!
I’ve been wanting to expand my Origami Owl business further into the community by dropping by local businesses that I support. It’s always nice to have a treat in hand so I ran home and made these yummy blueberry muffins! Here’s a great recipe if you want to take it a step further than I did (boxed mixes are my friend).
I used a few plastic pails from my local dollar store that I had leftover from a birthday party and lined them with O2 Blue napkins. Then I filled my Mobile Jewelry Bar (adorable, huh?) with new products, grabbed a stack of Take Out Menus (don’t forget slap a cute label on them!), and hit the road.
Making my rounds around town kept me busy until it was time to go and pick up my girl. Staying busy was just what I needed.
Are you looking to expand your business beyond your circle of family and friends? Give “Menus and Muffins” a try and let me know how it works for you!
